Body Paint & Interior:
This is an original 1967 Camaro RS/SS 350 car, with 72,000 original miles, as stated on the Ohio title. It is a factory Maroon car with all new White Parchment Interior, with deluxe door panels,(very rare option). This is a California built car. This car was a rust free car when restored with all original body panels as the owner has stated. The underside was detailed, as well as the engine compartment and trunk area. This car has had the frame tied for extra strength and durability.
The materials used to paint this vehicle, was a base coat, clear coat system, which produced a high quality paint job. This cars appearance stands tall, as well as, sits very nicely. Seller states that all body panels are original to this vehicle. As you can see in the pictures all quarter panel to door gaps and door gaps to fender gaps are very straight, as well as all body lines. This car has had all new tinted glass installed. All new weather strip, and new wiring harness with updated fuse box. New grill, headlight doors and motors. Most of the chrome on this car is new. Also an Am/Fm Retro Radio has been added.
Engine/Drive-train:
This car has been converted to an SS 396 Car, with a four speed transmission, (super T 10 Borg Warner), with a new shifter. Also, a new flywheel, clutch, pressure plate and blow proof bell housing was added. This car has a 12 bolt posi traction rear differential with 4:10 gear ratio.
It has a 402 cid engine, that sounds very healthy, and the engine compartment was factory dressed. It has a 520 lift, 242 duration camshaft which is hydraulic, and helps to keep from making periodic adjustments to the valve train. The engine has an Edelbrock C 396 intake manifold, with a new Holley 700 cfm double pump carb, with an electric choke. The exhaust system consists of ceramic coated headers, with new 2 1/2 inch exhaust. The cooling system is equipped with a new 3 core cross flow radiator. The owner of this vehicle says that this car does not run hot, as the temp stays at approx 185 degrees. With the exhaust system, and the engine cam selection used, this car has a very healthy stock sound.
Steering, Brakes & Suspension:
This car has a 16:1 manual steering box. Front disc brakes, with all new brakes & brake lines. New suspension bushings, shocks, and large front sway bar. This car has had all new tinted glass installed. All new weather stripping. New wiring harness, with updated fuse box. New grill, headlight doors and motors. Most of the chrome on this car is new. Also, the rally wheels were powder coated to protect against rust, stone chips, ect. In addition to the rally wheels, new rings & caps were added.. Also, new radial tires were added. Owner states that everything works on this car.
